To cut a 4-in (10 cm) wide and 44-in (112 cm) length piece of fabric use the method of pulling a thread and cut in an alternating mode. When using Spechler Vogel Premium Imperial Oxford fabric for an insert, there is no need to preshrink or prewash the fabric before pleating.
This fabric allows cutting the insert with the grain or across the grain. There is no need to add fusible interfacing to hold the pleats. This fabric does not tear.
