Hand Smocked Whole Bodice High Yoke White Dress Sizes 1 thru 8 -Victoria

This beautiful dress is appropriate for Special Church days*, Easter Sunday, Christmas, ‘her’ birthday and any other ‘very special occasion’.

This white dress is made of 100% pure cotton fabric. The classic lines of this dress enhance special occasions. The front bodice is hand smocked from the shoulder for approximately 9 ½ inches and is finished with two (2) rows of flowers, each with 17 white flowers. Each flower is made of eight (8) six (6) wraps bullion knots each with a pearl bead in the center.

The short sleeves and the jewel neckline are finished with a self-fabric bias band. Each of the short sleeves is enhanced with a 7/16 inch pure silk ribbon at the edge.

The skirt is approximately 3 yards wide and has been enhanced with 10 tucks, five (5) of each are sewn on each side of a 1 inch wide pure silk white ribbon at the lower edge.

The back yoke is plain, fastens with four (4) white buttons (an extra button is included, ‘just in case’) and a sash tie.

A placket having a length of approximately 4 inches makes the dress easy to put on and take off. The side seams of the dress are French seams. The dress is lined with an underlay of 100% white pure cotton for comfort with French side seams for strength.
The hand-washable pre-shrunk dress is beautiful, comfortable, and functional.
