Hand Smocked Red Christmas Dress Sizes 1 thru 12

Red dress hand smocked front and back to the waist. The smocking has been done using cream, red, and navy blue DMC™ cotton floss. The smocking has been enhanced with bullion knots roses made using cream DMC™ floss. The rose buds are made of bullion knots, each with six (6) wraps. Each rose bud has two (2) leaves and a stem that have been embroidered using green DMC™ cotton floss. Each leaf is made of two (2) lazy daisy stitches. The Peter Pan collar is embellished with self fabric corded piping along edge of collar. Each half collar has 9 rosebuds matching those of the smocking.
The skirt is approximately 2.4 yards wide. The puffy sleeves are trimmed with bands. The back closes with three (3) Dill red buttons and a buttoned belt. An extra button is attached just in case. A placket at the back of the dress adds comfort and easy to put on and take off. The side seams are French seams for strength and comfort. The dress is fully lined using red poly cotton fabric.
