Hand Smocked -First Communion - Diane

This beautiful dress appropriate for First Communion has been uniquely designed, this white dress is made of Spechler Vogel 100% Swiss Super Fine cotton batiste fabric**. The classic lines of this dress enhance special occasions. The bodice is hand smocked with a row of roses that highlights the lower edge of the yoke. The roses are bullion knots hand embroidered having three (3) leaves.
The puffed sleeves of this dress are cuffed and the dress has a lace edged Peter Pan collar.
The back yoke is plain, fastens with three (3) hand sewn buttons (an extra button is included, ‘just in case’), a sash tie, and a placket having a length of approximately 4.5 “ which makes for easy put on take off. The side seams of the dress are French seams. The dress is lined with an underlay of Spechler Vogel 100% Pima cotton batiste** for comfort with rolled side seams for strength.
The machine washable pre-shrunk dress is beautiful, comfortable, and functional. It has been lovingly crafted by an experienced seamstress from Colombia who designed it so it would look good on her Granddaughter or your Special Little Angel.
The embroidery is in white although shown in color here for clarity.
**Available in silk lined with rayon.
