This beautiful dress appropriate for First Communion is made of Spechler Vogel 100% Swiss Super Fine cotton batiste fabric**. The classic lines of this dress enhance special occasions. The bodice is heavily hand smocked and highlighted with glass beads.

The lower edge of the skirt is embellished with three (3) pintucks each side of the silk ribbon.

The back yoke is plain, fastens with four (4) hand sewn buttons (an extra button is included, ‘just in case’), a sash tie, and a placket having a length of approximately 4.5“ which makes for easy put on take off. This puffed short sleeves dress has a gathered strip along the Peter Pan collar. The side seams of the dress are French seams and the hem has been hand sewn. The puffed sleeves are lined using white silk organza and the dress is lined with an underlay of Spechler Vogel 100% Pima cotton batiste** for comfort with French side seams for strength.

The machine washable pre-shrunk dress is beautiful, comfortable, and functional. It has been lovingly crafted by an experienced seamstress from Colombia who designed it so it would look good on her Granddaughter or your Special Little Angel.
