This dress is made of 100% Swiss pure cotton veil fabric. The classic lines of this dress enhance special occasions. The yoke is hand smocked, from shoulder to waist using Finca™ perle cotton #16 thread.
The dress features a beautiful double sided silky cummerbund and full sash combination.
The jewel neckline is finished with a self-fabric bias band. The puffed sleeves are finished using a band of white beading lace and a pure silk ribbon at the cuff.
The skirt has been enhanced, at the hem, with three (3) tucks at each side of a band of white Cluny lace enhanced with two (2) bands of silk ribbon.
The back yoke is plain, fastens with four (4) buttons (an extra button is included, ‘just in case’).
A placket having a length of approximately 4.5 inches makes for the dress to be easy to put on and take off. The side seams of the dress are French seams. The dress is lined with an underlay of 100% pure cotton for comfort with French side seams for strength.
