This beautiful dress is appropriate for Special Church days*, Easter Sunday, Christmas, ‘her’ birthday and any other ‘very special occasion’.
This dress is made of 100% pure cotton veil fabric. The classic lines of this dress enhance special occasions.
The jewel neckline is finished with a Habotai pure silk fabric bias piping band. The sleeves features a centered pleat and are finished using Habotai pure silk fabric bias piping.
The skirt is 3 1/4 yd wide and has been highlighted, in the front, with rich hand embroidery, at the hem. In addition to beads, the skirt hand embroidery features, among others, bullion knots, pure silk ribbon, satin stitch, and lazy daisy stitch.
The back yoke is plain, fastens with four (4) buttons (an extra button is included, ‘just in case’).
The dress also features a beautiful cummerbund made using Habotai silk. This cummerbund is double sided and features a full sash. The length of the sash is approximately 40 3/8"" and the width varies from approximately 4 ¼” to approximately 5 7/8"". The front of this accessory is approximately 2” wide and features five (5) pleats.
We can custom make cumberbunds for you, from fabric you supply, so that the cumberband is an exact match to the dresses to be worn by the Bridesmaids. The use of a matching cummerbund allows the flower girl to wear a white dress and still match the rest of the wedding party.
Cummerbunds are returnable only when sent back to us the same day they are received.
A placket having a length of approximately 4.5 inches makes for the dress to be easy to put on and take off. The side seams of the dress are French seams. The dress is lined with an underlay of 100% pure cotton for comfort with French side seams for strength.
This dress includes the petticoat displayed in the pictures. This beautiful petticoat is made using of Spechler Vogel 100% Domestic cotton batiste for comfort with French side seams for strength. The petticoat fastens at the back with four (4) Dill buttons (an extra button is included, ‘just in case). A placket adds for comfort and easy to put on and take off. The petticoat is embellished with white Tatting lace at the neckline and the armscye so that the petticoat may be worn as a sunny dress.
The hand-washable dress is beautiful, comfortable, and functional.
