This dress is made of 100% Swiss pure cotton veil fabric. The classic lines of this dress enhance special occasions. The yoke is hand smocked, from shoulder to waist using Finca™ perle cotton #16 thread and has been enhanced with bullion knots.
The jewel neckline and the short puffed sleeves are finished with a self-fabric bias band.
The skirt has been enhanced, at the hem, with a band of Cluny cotton lace, a band of pure silk ribon, and two (2) pintucks.
The back yoke is plain, fastens with four (4) buttons (an extra button is included, ‘just in case’) and a Habotai silk sash tie.
A placket having a length of approximately 4.5 inches makes for the dress to be easy to put on and take off. The side seams of the dress are French seams. The dress is lined with an underlay of 100% pure cotton for comfort with French side seams for strength.
