Uniquely designed, this blue dress is made of 70% acrylic and 30% wool fabric. The classic lines of this dress enhance special occasions. The bodice is hand smocked using ecru floss. The hand smocked bodice is enhanced with clusters of ecru bullion knots.
The back yoke is plain, fastens with three (3) buttons (an extra button is included, ‘just in case’), a sash tie, and a placket having a length of approximately 4.5 “ which makes it easy to put on and take off. The dress has a lined blue velvet Peter Pan collar and puffed sleeves which have been finished with bias band along the cuff. The dress is lined with an underlay of blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton for comfort.
The machine washable pre-shrunk dress is beautiful, comfortable, and functional.
Please note that this natural silk fabric has soft thick nubs which are an inherent part of the fibers and add to the individuality of the dress so that these nubs should not be mistaken for flaws in the fabric. Due to availability of fabric patterns exact fabric as shown in the picture cannot be guaranteed. Similar fabric may be substituted.
