This beautiful dress appropriate for First Eucharist (formerly Communion) has been uniquely designed, this white dress is made of Spechler Vogel 100% cotton batiste fabric**. The classic lines of this dress enhance special occasions. The smocking and embroidery has been made using two (2) strands of DMC© Floche white thread. The bodice is hand smocked using colors #334 and #775 with a total of 24 roses that are hand embroidered using white thread to make the bullion knot at the center to make the inner petals and outer petals. The embroidery has 12 clusters of bullion knots made using the DMC© Floche threads. The leaves and are made using lazy daisy stitch.
The back yoke is plain, interfaced, and fastens with four (4) mother-of-pearl buttons (an extra button is included, ‘just in case’), a sash tie, and a placket having a length of approximately 4.5 “ which makes the dress easy to put on and take off.
The skirt is approximately 3 yards wide and the hem has been finished using entredeaux, French insertion lace, French beading lace, insertion lace, and edging French lace. The sleeves are lined with white pure silk organza and enhanced with matching entredeaux, French beading lace, and edging French lace at the cuff. The French beading lace has been finished using ¼” pure silk white ribbon.
The dress has a bias strip along the jewel neckline. The side seams of the dress are French seams.
The lined is made of white Spechler Vogel 100% Pima cotton batiste** for comfort with French side seams for strength.
The dress can be either hand wash or machine washed on a gently cycle and hang dry. This dress is beautiful, comfortable, and functional.

Due to availability of lace patterns exact laces as shown in the picture cannot be guaranteed. Similar laces may be substituted.The embroidery is white, although shown in color here for clarity.
