This beautiful dress appropriate for First Eucharist (formerly Communion) is made of 100% Swiss pure cotton batiste fabric**. The classic lines of this dress enhance special occasions. The front bodice is hand smocked from shoulder to waist. A chalise is machine embroidered at the center of the skirt.
The jewel neckline is finished with a self-fabric bias band and each of the short sleeves is enhanced with a double edge fagoting.
The back yoke is plain, fastens with three (3) mother of pearl buttons (an extra button is included, ‘just in case’) and a pure silk Habotai white sash tie.
A placket having a length of approximately 4.0 inches makes the dress easy to put on and take off. The side seams of the dress are French seams. The dress is lined with an underlay of 100% white pure cotton** for comfort with French side seams for strength.

The hand-washable dress is beautiful, comfortable, and functional.**Available in silk lined with rayon.
