This dress is made of 100% pure cotton fabric**. The classic lines of this dress enhance special occasions. The yoke is hand smocked, from shoulder to waist using perle cotton thread and has been enhanced with flowers embroidered using matching white cotton thread.
The jewel neckline and the armscyes are finished with self-fabric mini piping.
The skirt has been enhanced, at the lower edge, with two (2) bands of pure silk ribbon.
The back yoke is plain, fastens with three (3) white buttons (an extra button is included, ‘just in case’) and a sash tie.
A placket having a length of approximately 4.0 inches makes the dress easy to put on and take off. The side seams of the dress are French seams. The dress is lined with an underlay of white Spechler Vogel 100% pure cotton Pima Batiste** for comfort with French side seams for strength.
The hand-washable pre-shrunk dress is beautiful, comfortable, and functional.
*Available in white for First Communion.
