This beautiful dress appropriate for First Eucharist (formerly Communion) is made of 100% Swiss pure cotton batiste fabric**. The classic lines of this dress enhance special occasions. The front bodice is hand smocked from shoulder for approximately 9 ½ inches and is enhanced with white 5-petals bullion stitched flowers. Each flower is finished with a Miyuki© glass pearl bead in the center.
The jewel neckline is finished with a self-fabric bias band and each of the short sleeves is enhanced with a 7/16 inch pure silk ribbon at the edge.
The skirt has been enhanced with 6 pin tucks, three (3) of each are sewn on each side of a 7/16 inch wide pure silk white ribbon at the lower edge.
The back yoke is plain, fastens with three (3) mother of pearl buttons (an extra button is included, ‘just in case’) and a sash tie.
A placket having a length of approximately 4.0 inches makes the dress easy to put on and take off. The side seams of the dress are French seams. The dress is lined with an underlay of 100% white pure cotton** for comfort with French side seams for strength.

The hand-washable (or dry clean) dress is beautiful, comfortable, and functional.**Available in silk lined with rayon.
