This high yoke “Take-me-Home” dress is especially designed for premature and newborn babies. This dress is made using Spechler Vogel 100% cotton batiste fabric**. The hem is trimmed using pure silk ribbon and a band of self fabric ruffles. The scalloped collar is highlighted with a hand embroidered trailing vine at the lower edge, embroidered with bullion knots and daisy lazy stitches using Floche a Broder cotton thread. The collar is trimmed using gathered French edge lace. The long sleeves are finished using matching ecru pure silk ribbon. The back yoke is plain, fastens with two (2) button (an extra button is included, ‘just in case’), and a placket having a length of approximately 4.5” which makes it easy to put on and take off. The side seams of the dress are French seams. The dress is lined with an underlay of Spechler Vogel 100% Pima cotton batiste** for comfort and thus eliminating any raw, “itchy” edges. The machine washable pre-shrunk dress is beautiful, comfortable, and functional. It has been lovingly crafted by an experienced seamstress from Colombia who designed it so it would look good on her Granddaughter or your Special Little Angel.
